Hello my name is Sophie and am 33 yrs old. I’m so frustrated and am in daily pain from my cysts. I recently had 1 cyst on my right ovary and a lot of pain, my dr. prescribed bc pills which made the cyst dissolve within 2 weeks, but pain still there. Dr. told me that cyst don’t cause pain in the first place so there must be something else wrong. So had laproscopy surgery and they found a lot of endometreosis, also had a procedure called Nova Sure to stop me from having periods which could be another reason for my pain, so Dr. said. Now literally 2 weeks after my surgery I’m in horrible pain can barley walk, sit, cough or anything, so went in for ultrasound they found 2 cyst that have grown on my right ovary. Dr. tells me that they are nothing and they are not the reason for my pain and scheduled my next appt. in 3 months. I have been going through this since dec. and dont know how much more I can handle!!!

i was just recently told that i have an ovairan cyst that was on monday and im still in terrible pain and i have been extremley nauseated and i have vomitted i was wondering if this is normal or if i need to go in immediatley? any advice i would appreciate it thank you!!!..

Hi, my name is shadaira i am 17 i have had ovarian cysts since i was 15. i developed ovraian cysts because i was on the depo shot for birth control so i myself would not suggest birth control but my pain is 24/7 i have trie otc meds and precription mediceine but nothing is workig any suggestion?

Baby girl I am so sorry you are having this at your age, I am 31 and just today got back from the Dr. that will not do anything about it for me but put me back on BC and at my age and I smoke it is just not a good thing for me to do, However at your age it would be the best because when I was a spring chick it worked for me. So yeah right now yasmin is the best thing for it! Good luck and hope you work it out soon.

Hey, im 17 and i have an ovarian cyst
since over the counter dosen’t help me. try using birth control. You my not feel the difference at first, but it really dose help. also if you are having major pains try goin to the bathroom to release all that pressure thats hitting th cyst. & when you are about hit your period take it easy. i’ve noticed thats when it hurts the most.Good Luck!!!

I would suggest getting some prescription pain medicine. I too have problems with cysts and over the counter stuff just doesn't do it. You may have a cyst that hasn't burst yet and may be getting bigger. When I had that problem I had to have surgery to get it removed. Try using warm heating pads and taking warm baths. I've found it does ease the pain sometimes. And for the time being, I'd stay away from the tampons. You got enough going on in there without shoving a hunk of cotton up in there. Good luck!

tylenol, call the doc and make an appointment. stay away from tampons they could be the cause ask your doctor about that too. good luck
